• Data Sharing: How you share or distribute PDFs containing personal data
• Legal Obligations: Meeting your own legal obligations as a data controller

2. Information We Collect

We collect minimal data necessary to operate the tool:

2.1 Account Information

• Email address (for authentication)
• Password (encrypted)
• Account creation date

2.2 User-Generated Content

We store content YOU create, including:

• Text, data, and information you input
• Files and photos you upload
• Voice recordings you submit for transcription
• Generated PDF documents

Important: We do NOT review, monitor, or validate this content. You are responsible for ensuring it complies with all laws.

2.3 Technical Information

• IP address
• Browser type and device information
• Usage logs (for service operation only)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use data ONLY to provide the tool functionality:

• Service Operation: Store your data, generate PDFs, process voice-to-text
• Authentication: Verify your identity and maintain your session
• Technical Support: Respond to your support requests (only when you contact us)
• Service Improvement: Analyze usage patterns to improve tool performance

We do NOT:

• Review or analyze the content you create
• Use your content for marketing purposes
• Train AI models on your specific data without explicit consent
• Share your content with third parties (except as required for service operation)

4. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

We do NOT sell your data. We share data only as necessary to operate the tool:

4.1 Essential Service Providers

• Google Cloud / Firebase: Cloud hosting and data storage
• Google Gemini AI: Voice-to-text transcription and optional text enhancement

These providers process data under strict data processing agreements and are GDPR-compliant.

4.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or legal process. However, YOU remain responsible for the legality of the content you create.

4.3 No Marketing or Analytics Sharing

We do NOT share your content with:

• Marketing companies
• Data brokers
• Analytics platforms (beyond basic usage metrics)
• Social media platforms

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures:

• SSL/TLS encryption for data transmission
• Encrypted data storage
• Secure authentication via Firebase
• Regular security monitoring
• Automated backups

However: No system is 100% secure. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• Using strong passwords
• Not sharing your account access
• Reporting any security concerns immediately

6. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding YOUR account data:

• Access: Download a copy of your data at any time
• Correction: Edit or update your information through the platform
• Deletion: Delete your account and data permanently
• Portability: Export your data in standard formats

Important: These rights apply to YOUR account data. For any personal data of your clients/customers that you store in QuickTecc, YOU are responsible for honoring their privacy rights under applicable laws.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary:

• Active accounts: Data is stored while your account is active
• After deletion: Account data is permanently deleted within 30 days
• Backups: Backup copies are removed within 90 days
• Legal requirements: Some data may be retained longer if required by law

Your responsibility: Before deleting your account, ensure you have exported any data you need and that you have met your own data retention obligations for your clients' information.

8. Cookies and Tracking

We use minimal cookies for:

• Authentication (keeping you logged in)
• Session management
• Basic usage analytics (anonymous)

We do NOT use:

• Advertising cookies
• Third-party tracking cookies
• Cross-site tracking

You can disable cookies in your browser, but this may affect functionality.

9. International Data Transfer

Your data may be stored on servers located in different countries (via Google Cloud). We ensure all data transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.

Your responsibility: If you are subject to specific data localization requirements, you must ensure your use of QuickTecc complies with those requirements.

10. Children's Privacy

QuickTecc is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we discover such data, we will delete it immediately.

11. AI Processing

When you use AI features (voice-to-text, text enhancement):

• Your content is processed by Google Gemini AI
• Processing is done in real-time and not stored by the AI provider
• AI suggestions are provided "as-is" without verification
• YOU are responsible for reviewing and approving all AI-generated content

We do NOT guarantee the accuracy, appropriateness, or legal compliance of AI-generated content.

12. Disclaimer of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• We are NOT responsible for the content you create or store
• We are NOT liable for your compliance (or non-compliance) with privacy laws
• We are NOT responsible for data breaches caused by your account security practices
• We are NOT liable for how you use or share data generated by QuickTecc
• We do NOT guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
